My mom was diagnosed with ALS in 2014. She was a fierce, relentless, quick-witted woman, whose qualities I see in my daughter. Over the years she battled the disease, her skin became dry and thin. I wanted to create something that moisturized without clogging her pores, that allowed my hands to roll over her muscles gently, and to share a part of the forest that she lived in 30 years ago.
